We love the simplicity of jesus sandals. How easy it is to put them on, wear them around, and take them off. Jesus sandals are a no-frills kind of shoe and we really like how they’re so fuss-free and simple that way.
However, we can’t resist a bit of embellishment every now and then, especially on such a simple sandal.
So while doing some online shoe shopping, we found some jesus sandals made more interesting by little things like beads, studs, and gems.
Check out the gold studs and the brown and white beading details on these Massai Beaded Sandals from Cocobelle:

The beading also extends to the ends of the straps of the sandal cuff, which goes around the ankle:

These retail for $120.00 at Shopbop.com.
Another one we found is Diego Di Lucca’s Verity Sandals:

The blanket stitch around the footbed of the sandal makes for an interesting contrasting detail. We love how they matched the color of the thread to the unpolished gold hue of the stud and buckle hardware on these sandals. On sale now at 12% off at Zappos.com.
Lastly, we bring you the multi-colored Sanzo Sandals from Steve Madden:

Can’t you just feel the earthy chic, hippie-slash-boho vibe emanating from these sandals? The mishmash of beads, gems, and woven fabric surprisingly combine well altogether to create a cute sandal. Hard to pull off especially when you’re using these many colors, but somehow, Steve Madden gets the formula right. These are $89.90 at Zappos.
