Aren’t these the type of jesus sandals that you can just see yourself traveling in? They look really comfortable and those sturdy soles look like they have a lot of support – perfect for endless walking and sightseeing. And because these sandals have got a sleek style going on, they’re easy to wear with practically anything and (most especially!) don’t scream “I’m a tourist”.

It’s clear from the second picture that the white ones made of leather, but I initially thought that the black ones were made entirely of elastic straps. It turns out that the only elastic parts are the ankle straps and everything else is made purely of nubuck:

Arche uses water and scratch resistant nubuck leather for all their nubuck footwear. So that explains why the black ones are $319.00 while the white ones are a little bit cheaper at $299.00.

I guess it didn’t really come a surprise to me when I found out that these sandals were designed by a French shoe company. Those French really have got an eye for style even for something as simple as a black and white jesus sandal.
