As our name indicates, we’re a blog that focuses on Jesus sandals. What are Jesus sandals you ask?

Well firstly, no matter what people or Urban Dictionary says, Jesus sandals aren’t just the sandals that tourists wear. These are modern day sandals that are inspired by footwear that Jesus himself wore, hence the name “Jesus sandals”.

Jesus sandals are unfairly boxed into the bohemian, flower child, “for-hippies-only” fashion category, but we’re trying to break out of that stereotype. We think Jesus sandals can be stylish and fashion-forward, not to mention are cool to the feet, super comfy, and so durable that you can walk in them for days! (Which are exactly the reasons why Jesus chose to wear these sandals during his preaching, traveling, and gathering followers days).

Therefore we are Jesus sandal style believers. With all the innovations and redesigning going on in fashion today, we think Jesus sandals can now rightfully be redefined to encompass more styles of sandals which yes, also include stylish, fashionable, and non-touristy ones.

From Jesus’ own sandals, to tourist sandals, to fashion blog style, to haute couture: all of these can be called Jesus sandals!

The gladiator sandal of yore is being constantly reinvented into strappy, bejeweled, and high-heeled variations today, and believe it or not, the same thing is being done to Jesus sandals. Designers and shoe brands may call it by a different name, but we know that essentially, some of the sandal styles they’re coming out with are inspired by Jesus’ own.

So what we’re going to do in this blog is feature all kinds of Jesus sandal-inspired footwear to show just how versatile and varied the Jesus sandal is. We’re also going to write about celebrities we’ve spotted wearing Jesus sandal-style shoes whether they’re simple or embellished, plain or colorful, flat or high-heeled, or all of the above.

Jesus sandals won’t make you walk on water but they’re practical, they’re comfortable, and now, fashionable. Wear yours with pride!
