Leave it to Jeffrey Campbell to come up with another innovative and contemporary design that will make us scratch our heads and wonder if we could ever really wear these pieces.

We recently checked out Nordstrom and found these new-in sandals that could easily have been inspired by flat irons. Yes, you’ve read that right—an actual classic flat iron.

The best we could do in describing these pairs is that JC placed heelless sandals on top of a small platform. In a way, the extended platform actually makes the heelless sandals more stable to wear and walk with. In addition, we do love the designs of these sandals consisting of the crisscross metal-plated straps and the transparent straps as well.
